Q. Is the API unidirectional or it is bi-directional allowing information from the radio back to the BBU so that the network can do clever things like SON?
A. Yes. With our bi-directional API, it is our intent to provide next-generation technology such as a Self-Organizing Network (SON). The benefits are a reduction of operational expenditure costs, along with an efficient and optimized network.
