Albert is a seasoned entrepreneur. Prior to founding Dali Wireless, Albert practiced cross-border corporate, venture capital, and intellectual property law at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman in Silicon Valley. He previously co-founded OnChip Technologies, a MEMS-microfluidics startup for proteomics, and a number of information technology startups where he held various board and management positions. Albert is a British Marshall Scholar, and earned a Ph.D. in Law from Trinity College, Cambridge University. He also received a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Economics from California Institute of Technology. Albert holds several key patents in wireless systems and networking.
Shawn is a luminary in wireless communications. He is currently a Professor Emeritus at the School of Engineering Science at Simon Fraser University. Shawn founded PulseWave RF, TRL Microwave Technology and Seron Technologies. He has acted as an external partner for Hewlett Packard and later Agilent Technologies where he developed the majority of the ADS software design guides and the ADS Digital Predistorter Connected Solution. In addition, he delivered seminars on Digital Predistortion of Power Amplifiers around the globe. Shawn has held positions at Scientific Atlanta, GigaOptix (iTerra Communications), and Canadian Astronautics Limited. Shawn received his B.Eng, M.Eng. and Ph.D. from Carleton/Ottawa University. He has over 300 international patents, and has published approximately 200 scholarly publications in the areas of RFICs, Digital Signal Processing, Mobile Communications and Power Amplifications.
Basem is an accomplished senior executive with over 30 years of telecom experience. He leads global sales, business development, operations, and strategic direction in conjunction with Dali’s CEO, Albert Lee. Basem also leads IP licensing and partner ecosystem development initiatives. Basem has a wealth of experience in executive management, sales, engineering and international business development. Prior to rejoining Dali, Basem was the Executive Vice President at Dali Wireless, and Chief Commercial Officer, Wireless Networks, at TE Connectivity. Basem has also held various executive and leadership positions at Powerwave Technologies, and ADC Telecommunications. Basem holds an Executive MBA in Global Business from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alabama.
Sasa is an engineering professional with over 25 years of experience in project management and RF/Microwave design, from component to system level. He is skilled at project concept development, planning, costing, budgeting, design, development, compliance verification and utilizes new approaches with new technologies and materials. He has held key positions at MDA, Norsat, Scientific Atlanta, and Imtel Microwaves.
Sasa received his Master of Engineering in Digital Communication from Simon Fraser University and his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Belgrade in Serbia. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists in British Columbia. He holds several U.S. patents in satellite communications and high-speed data.
Andrew has over 25 years of professional experience in the telecommunications industry. He has led multi-million dollar mobile network projects from development to deployment for major telecom carriers such as Reliance Communications, Qualcomm, GCI Alaska and Telekom PNG. He has held key leadership roles at Nortel, UTStarcom and Star Solution spanning R&D, system integration and operations. Andrew received his Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
